Setup

Set git bash as your default terminal

1. Install
   • vscode
   • git bash: https://git-scm.com/downloads
2. (if already open) Restart vscode
   • You should now see vscode in the list of terminal options
3. Press CTRL+SHIFT+P to open the command pallate
4. Search for "Terminal: Select default profile"
   • that should narrow down to one option
   • Press enter or click on that option
5. use the arrow keys to highlight your preferred terminal, them press enter (or just click your preferred option)
